These repairs are designed to vulcanize chemically and are effective for a maximum of 1/4" injury in passenger radial tires. unit MoLded Passenger radiaL Universal Round repair unit can be applied in any direction, in any repairable area in a radial or bias ply car tire. They are ideal inner liner patches to completely fill the injury and patch the innerliner, as recommended by the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA). universaL round Each of the radially-directed plies is end cut and wrapped to "float" inside the patch, preventing end cracking or "breakout" common to competitive brands. The 700 Series is applied "center over the injury" and designed for use in puncture, reinforcement, and section repairs in any passenger car, truck, agricultural or earthmover radial tire. These will vulcanize chemically in low temperature, or high heat curing systems. Center over the injury radiaL Cross Ply Reinforced Patch with the reinforcing plies contained within a protective "ply package". Edge cracking and cord break-out are eliminated as each ply is protected by its own gum barrier. All sizes can be applied chemically or with heat.
